LEASING
Leasing a horse is essentially a formal rental agreement between an owner and a rider for a horse’s use. At its most basic, leasing a horse is a means for riders to have more equestrian involvement without the full financial obligation of owning a horse.
WHY LEASE?
You love horses, you are loving riding, and you are ready for next step. You want to ride more outside your lessons to improve your skills and maybe even find out what it’s like to have a horse. Leasing is a great way to take this next step without the full committment of owning your own horse.
Benefits:
-
It's a great first stage and learning opportunity before becoming an owner
-
It's a great opportunity to ride and bond with a horse for those who don't have the financial or time availability to properly care for their own horse
-
For competitive riders, it can be a way to improve their skills for competition
-
It's a way for students taking lessons to get to bond with one horse instead of riding different horses in the lesson program
